Iran fires missiles at U.S. military bases in Iraq

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) fires missiles, from an undisclosed location in the country, towards an Iraqi military base housing U.S. forces, January 8, 2020. More than a dozen ballistic missiles targeted the Ain al- Asad military base in retaliation for a U.S. airstrike that assassinated top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani last week.
